Do somebody know Jean Pierre van Rossem ?
Do somebody know some history about this guy in F1. I think he had a F1 team somewhere between the years 1980 and 1990 but after that he was doing something with F1 drivers I think.
If you could give me the F1 Team name would it be great. Thank you much |

The Jenkins-designed Penske PC15 and PC16 were sophisticated but not very successful and Jenkins was dumped by Penske in mid-1987. He joined the fledgling Moneytron Onyx F1 team which entered F1 in 1989 with Stefan Johansson and Bertrand Gachot as drivers. In July Johansson gave the team its first point at Paul Ricard and in Portugal the Swede finished third. Unfortunately at the end of the year the management fell out with Moneytron boss Jean-Pierre Van Rossem and the bizarre Belgian sold the outfit to eccentric Swiss millionaire Peter Monteverdi.

Nope he is not in jail anymore he is almost free for 2 years. He now is making patĂȘ, motorcycles with his painting on it he also is making bike's the Tessarossem and he is doing much more here in Belguim. They sold all his Ferrari's but dit not recieved mutch money for it because they all where replica's. before he got into jail he was in politics but was removed after he said VIVA la republique Belgique. It is a wierd guy with big ideas but it is a good person.
