Come on Marcus. Give me a world title I can celebrate and bow out of full time rallying on a high!
Japan could go either way though really. |

Weather is another factor for this one - temperatures down to freezing for the early morning stages and possible snow. Tyre choices will be crictical.

He hit a straw bale, which sent him off into a tree stump. |

not good news, lets hope mikko and jarri-matti can keep loeb honest and bump him down the order a bit to reduce the impact of any points loss

Bad day for the subaru boys, petter and atko out (his was a big high speed accident apparently)
shame for marcus, really needed a big result to keep the title fight up. Big chance for latvalla to impress malcolm and claim next years seat. |

its likely he might score a few manufacturers points for the team but it looks unlikely he'll get drivers points
so really we are back level with a 4 point lead for marcus, so ideal a win and a second place a peice for both loeb and marcus would be nice! |

Here's hoping.
Although actually I hope they go into GB equal on points and Gronholm smokes it and wins in emphatic style. |

As much as I don't like wishing bad luck on people and seeing people crash out I'm kind of glad Loeb didn't take the win here. The leaderboard for this event just goes to show how thin the field is this year in the WRC
