PPI Motorsport
Could anyone explain to me why did they leave from CART!? They had 2 great young drivers, 2 good cars with good sponsors, they got their first win in 2000 what more do you want? To due in 2000 Eurosport didn't had the coverage of CART I don't know much about that move... Who were running that team and what are they doing know - are they involved with other CART teams?

PPI Motorsport is owned by Cal Wells III. He originally began racing off road racing trucks and off road buggies in the classic American desert races and moved into CART. His sponsors have taken him into NASCAR now. I didn't like it, but thats the way it is. he could not maintain sponsors in CART and picked up a big one for NASCAR. I can't blame him for moving in that direction.

PPI Motorsports did not have the money to compete this season, the same goes for Della Penna.
