Schumacher and Montoya colliding at Sepang. Not so much the collision, but rather the penalty which was awarded to Montoya for it. Plain stupidity, and it cost him the race.

It has to me MS passing Kimi under yellows in France. Kimi was clearly on the track when MS passed him.

The penalty assessed to Montoya at Sepang, result of the collision between TGF and him.

It was totally uncalled for.

The penalty given to JPM in Malaysia was ludicrous.

freud has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
As much as I would've liked to see Kimi win the race at Magny Cours & felt that Yellow flags were actually waving before Kimi spun... the most controversial incident was the penalty given to JPM by the FIA stewards at Sepang.

The Kimi TGF thing was a non-issue. We talked about this in depth - remember, with eatapc providing conclusive evidence that Kimi was off the track.

Controversial? Nothing except Austria.

I agree the a1ring gets my 2002 controversy award. What amazed me is back at the a1 ring ferrari tried to justify there use of these tactics by saying if we would let rubens win and schumi loses the championship by a point we would look back at this race and kick are selfs so what happened yesterday at spa what happens if rubens loses second place in the championship by a point are does it matter. I guess the bottom line here is whats more important schumis records are rubens second place

Definatly the penalty awarded to JPM in Maylasia! Wether it was or not, it definatly seemed to me to just have been given to put JPM further down the field nearer to TGF, to make up for TGF's nose change.

Well the murder of the Hockenheim has to be up there, it was disgraceful and its replacement pitiful.

I voted JPM and TGF in Malaysia though.

Complete cock up of a decision by the FIA, JPM shouldn't have been penalised in a million years. A joke.

i think there was 2 incidents that merit this.....malaysia penalty for Juan was madness....and the fact that TGF overtook Kimi under a yellow was just as mad IMO
