Interesting qualifing (this morning) for the 1st race this afternoon. Looking at the times it was probaply raining. It's an interesting grid for the afternoon race. Rosberg, Briscoe and Pla are coming from P6, P10 and P12. Primat was 16th!

Glock won first race, Carbone 2nd, pole-sitter Klien 3rd, Briscoe 5th (drove fastest lap of the race), Manderson quit good, finished at the back, but his fastest lap was OK. Tomorrow 2nd race. They changed something at the results (why???). Briscoe's time is now closer to that from Rosberg, but the Finn still has pole. Manderson now fastest STR driver, his teammate Campanico finished 4th today, so the package can not be that bad.
New Grid Race 2: 1. Nico Rosberg - 1.10.345 2. Ryan Briscoe - 1.10.414 3. Olivier Pla - 1.10.735 4. Alexandros Margaritis - 1.10.799 5. Markus Winkelhock - 1.10.820 6. Bernhard Auinger - 1.10.906 7. Richard Lietz - 1.10.960 8. Alexandre Premat - 1.10.976 9. Charles Zwolsman - 1.10.979 10. Robert Doornbos 1.11.066 11. Katsuyuki Hiranaka 1.11.091 12. Fabio Carbone - 1.11.158 13. Timo Glock - 1.11.199 14. Sakon Yamamoto - 1.11.214 15. Stefano Proetto - 1.11.228 16. Daniel La Rosa - 1.11.241 17. Nicolas Lapierre - 1.11.299 18. Lucas Di Grassi - 1.11.303 19. Christian Klien - 1.11.318 20. Alvaro Parente - 1.11.318 21. Maro Engel - 1.11.355 22. Andreas Zuber - 1.11.398 23. Simon Abadie - 1.11.417 24. James Manderson - 1.11.545 25. Jan Heylen - 1.11.546 26. Gilles Tinguely - 1.11.881 27. Cesar Campanico - 1.11.945 28. Harold Primat - 1.12.177 29. Dong-Wook Lee - 1.12.580 30. Philipp Baron - 1.12.684 so today's top 4 is not in top 10 for tomorrow. So it will be a different race, I'd like to see what Campanico can do from P27. |
