Cost of running in AAA Series
Hi,
I'm going to enter the AAA for 2011 in GpA and wanted so info from people who have already run in the series. What tyres are people running for Wet and Dry conditions? What is/was your financial expenditure for a race or season? What sort of BHP/LBS are people running? What fuel did you use? Are any of the cars running in GpA still used on the road? I would also be interested in information from other people who run in a different series (Road car based cars). Thanks Mark |

in the dry they will be running slicks and proper wets in the wet.
if you want to run in the unrestricted class then your need to be thinking of in terms of 600bhp 500lbft minimum to be a front runner. as for running costs for a whole season your probably looking at the very least £5000 assuming nothing breaks or wears out |

Hi Graham, thank you for the reply.
Where are people buying their slicks and wets from? I have had a look on Demon Tweeks but as usual they are overpriced and don't have them in my size. Power wise, I should be able to comfortably run between 600 & 900 on the same MAP but with different boost. |
