Last minute seems to be the norm these days!
Probably behind copse, near pedestrian bridge, someone will point you towards a map if you need one!

Expect them early next week, it seems to be the norm this season. At the PMC meeting earlier this season, the secretary of meeting only got them on the Friday, 9 days before the meeting.

Just a little word of warning regarding traffic to / from this event - really only applies to those not staying over for the full event.

There is a gigantic Colin McRae tribute gathering homing in on Banbury that weekend - 1000+ scoobies in convoy on and about the M40 might have an impact on your journey times from / to the West of Silverstone?

http://www.mcrae-gathering.co.uk/

Salient details are :
Sat - convoy southbound M40 to J9 due to arrive 16:00 - bound to be milling around the hotels & pubs most of the evening.
Sun - mini convoys converging on same area from 08:00 to 11:00
Sun - monster convoy to Prodrive Warwick (shouldn't bother you guys as during race time). Dispersal from Kenilworth throughout the late afternoon & early evening may impact?

Although the event has full police involvement, expect an extra heavy enforcement level in the area, which could affect Silverstone traffic.

Thanks,

Do you need a car pass to enter the circuit or will your entry ticket do?

Weather warning guys and gals for this weekend, looks like a mixed one.
Plenty of slip slap slop for Saturday, then make sure your water proofs are water proof as its heavy rain for Sunday from lunchtime onwards....
You have been warned !

Looks as if I'm going to have to give this a miss due to doing something to my back. I'll see how it is in the morning an, if needed, e-mail Becci at BARC.

Hello! i'm new to this forum and i'm also quite new to marshalling, I did my day training in Feb this year and my first event at Pembrey in Wales at the truck racing!

I'm going to be doing my second event this weekend at Silverstone so just wanted to say hi and wondered if you had any advice for a newbie?! Thanks
