Contrary to previous rumours of Middle East, Jeddah etc, the Final will be hosted by Portimao:

It's also not happening until March which seems crazy considering some drivers' deals will have ended by then...

Pretty sure a lot of drivers/teams will have factored in the World Final and staying on board should they be able to take part.
It's been spoken about since the start of the year. Otherwise, it could open up for some interesting driver changes. |

https://tcr-worldranking.com/tcr-world-ranking-final It is updated from time to time, so new faces may appear soon. I would imagine they would add a few drivers from TCR China, Anna Inotsume from TCR Japan Btw, Cardoso is a good addition, he was pretty impressive at La Pedrera TCR World Tour |

Will Brown is likely to participate, expecially given there is no calendar clash with Supercars:
