That was an awesome effort and all the more so considering the food poisoning. The car was clearly down on power down the straights, but in the twisty bits it was quick.
To Paul, David, Martin, Bernie, Mike & Gene and the rest of the team including the volunteers who help make this team. Well done we can tick another achievement of the "To do list". |

Fantastic job from all at TKR.
It's great to see Paul Radisich competitive at the sharp end - not long ago there was a serious danger his career was fading. Now, even with a case of the Rat poison... |

I think TKR signing Radisich is one of the best driver signings in recent years.
Well done to everyone at TKR. |

A brilliant effort by the boys, Allans engine will be a huge improvement in the top end power too.
Three years ago if you had of said Radisich was on the podium, in a Holden, for Team Kiwi, at a place called Shanghai, I would have chuckled.... Brilliant effort to everyone involved. |

A huge congrats to Paul, but especially to TKR.
There is a lot of water under the bridge since Jason Richards, a) creamed a seagull into T1 and b) hit the wall at Southern loop during a testing day at Phillip Island, 2 weeks prior to the 2001 SCS. Oh & Angus Fogg had to ride back to Melbourne in the transporter too, after not getting a lap in the car. [btw Greg Ritter was testing the Imrie road rocket, that day too] Then failing to record a lap in V8SC 'pre-qualifying', would have had people doing some soul searching. http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/re...3/2001.PHIL.P8 Some interesting names in the pre-qual group for the round.... |

It was good with Paul grabbing 3rd in China. The bad part about TKR is it's number, #021. It should go back to #14.

Is Vodafone still associated with the team? If not, keeping 021 makes no sense, apart from continuity.

While not necessarily supporting the idea of them changing their number, 69 (which has to be the coolest number out there) would fit with their stable-mate Mr Morris, with 67.....

Or if they want to merge the Vodafone link with the Morris link, they could use 77 (they did run 777 for a while)

BJR apparently tried to get #11 to go with their #12 earlier this year, but someone in a red, white and green team seemed to have a difference of opinion on that.
Maybe next year when TPR needs some CPR... |

With TKR's driver, Paul Radisich, has never driven a Holden until the beginning of this year when he joined TKR. He has driven for the Blue Oval 78 times and has had 3 round victories and 2 poles in his V8 career.
