What is this strange outcome of the races?
Are the Japanese motorcycle factory's giving special kits to the wildcard riders or what?You can't tell me that this only can be the advantage of a home circuit.Or are these Japanese riders really that good?Something fishy is going on there. If they where really that good they would be riding the complete season right? |

The way I understand it is that factory parts are tested in the local series first before they are proven and then passed on to the WSB teams. So the locals get the fast bits first!

However the way i understand it is that the wildcards would probably do a few million laps of the track each year. Could this explain why the Japanese do so well, and Bostrom at Laguna? If the riders know the ciruit the best, they would probably also have the ace set up.

It is mostly that they ride the tracks so much. As there are only a limited number of tracks they get to ride them quite often. And also Sugo is a track that you really need to know well to go quick at. But at the same time, the Japanese series has superbikes closest to those in the WSBK as Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha all are based in Japan they want to win the local championship as much as the world championship.

They are definitely "One circuit wonders". Haga was one of them. When he first set out on the WSB circuit he was mostly a backmarker. We are seeing this in Bostrom right now. I hope Ben can get up to speed soon.

Hopefully they'll be two circuit wonders, at least... BTW are they going to be riding at Brands ?

They should be at Brands, and Foggy might be back racing then too.
