It was hot enough in the car for my brief stint on Saturday, what it was like out there on the posts all day I cannot imagine. Thanks to all who endured, hope we provided a reasonable show.

MGCC Snetterton Oct 01/02
Gentlemen - rest assured your efforts on the track were very well received by those of us in orange on 'the bank'... All of those on my crew thoroughly enjoyed the weekends entertainment, particularly the nail-biting four hour relay race on Sunday! The MGCC get all of the ingredients for a good meeting right anyway - great cars, full grids, close racing etc. The weather this weekend was just a bonus... Finally can I say that it was a pleasure to marshal for a club that genuinely seems to appreciate the efforts of the marshals... Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly and chatty - your club members are a credit to the sport!

I would like to add the thanks of the whole team in RC to all the marshals for their superb support throughout the weekend.
The sheer number of smiling faces of those in orange at the morning briefings and all around the circuit certainly summed up the overall feeling of the meeting, especially when combined with the fantastic weather that only Snetterton can organise for these special events!! Seriously though, everyone involved contributed to a brilliant weekend's racing, all the marshals, officials, safety car teams, recovery, rescue teams, MSV Circuit staff and maintenance teams, with extremely efficient clear ups and turnrounds between sessions. Also to all the competitors who provided the excellent on track entertainment with big grids throughout combined with very good driving standards over the weekend producing exciting racing for the marshals and for the spectators. Great to see so many wonderful, and in many cases quite rare, cars in all the different classes being prepared and raced so well. Terry |
