The Kimster. Great drive from fifth on the grid, sixth on lap one.

I would have done it as a separate post but I thought I should edit the same one, Bononi.

The Hamster aka Crashilton(although he hasn't done that for a while).
Runner-up a worthy Kimi. Good show from Lotus today. |

Great comeback drive from Kimi , but he needed one because he got beaten by Romain on Saturday (and I dont see how I should award DOTH points for poor qualifying performances)
Hamilton was in the league of his own all weekend, amazing pole, amazing race handling the pressure coming from they way more tire-friendly Lotus cars. Honorable mentions to Kimi? sure. Driver of the race: Hamilton. |

Karthikeyan for me. Thanks to his depositing his car at Turn 4 the yellow was displayed there for the final four laps. With a clear track I think the Kimi vs Lewis duel would have been really interesting.

Great drives from Lewis all weekend deserves DOTR but i gave it to Kimi , what do Lotus need to do to get that elusive win ? Think things may have been different if his Kers was operating at the start . Also a mention to Senna good to see him in the points .

Driver of the weekend is Hamilton, without question.
Driver of the race is probably Kimi, although I suspect Hamilton had the measure of him anyway. |

Alonso no contest.
A great tactical and points maximising drive today in a car that was probably only 5th strongest this weekend behind Lotus, Mclaren, Red Bull and Williams. Either of the Enstone drivers should've won, but whether it was the driver's or team's fault they didn't. |

Given that Vettel couldn't be awarded DOTR last season when he was the fastest package i don't see how Lewis can this weekend.
Kimi was awesome, but i'm gonna go for Senna. |

Kimi for sure. He did what he needed to do. He fell short in the end because of the difficult track for overtaking.

Kimi for the second week running. Hamilton drove a great race, but starting from the clean side and staying ahead at a race where it's near impossible to overtake is one thing... But accomplishing what Kimi did provided most of the excitement of the race!

It's easy to just go with the guy who won, but I tend to try looking beyond that to who accomplished the most beyond simply keeping the lead from pole. However, in this case, Lewis once again drove better than his team mate, held off two Lotuses from which he was under constant threat, got more from his tires than his team mate despite reputations being opposite, but also absolutely dominated the entire weekend.

I guess the Karthekyan vote was on account of him doing the right thing and getting out of everyone's way by crashing.

Aysedasi: I think that there could have been a "duel" had Turn 4 not been under yellow the last four laps. so yes, there was no duel. And yes, I am disappointed that there was not. I was not pulling for either driver but Kimi has come close since he has been back and I was curious to see if he had anything for Lewis at the end. I think that each lost enough momentum that Lewis could not really consolidate his lead further nor could Kimi attack.

Hamilton for a polished weekend, looked happier the whole weekend and drove like a champion, at last!
Honourable mention to Kimi. I was also holding on for a showdown in the final laps, pity it never eventuated. |
