Milka Duno not at Road America?

http://www.professionalsportscar.com.../entrylist.cfm

What's up with this?

Also, no Dyson racing in this list. I would have thought since they're in the Mid-Ohio race with their MkIIIa that they'd be in the Road America race too. Are they waiting for posession of a EXG257? Or are they taking a break after two weekends in a row (Watkins Glen 6h then Mid-Ohio)? There isn't an entry list for the 4th of July Daytona race yet, so I don't know if that's stopping them from being at Road America for the 5th-7th.

I think you will find Milka has a clashing engagement at the Dallara Nissan World Series round at Monza. I would have thought they could find a sub.to drive at Elkart Lake.

I think Dyson are going to do the July 4th Daytona race and take a pass on Road America that weekend.

While fans could see both events in person it would be hard for a team to drive all day Friday and qualify on Saturday after having done the Paul Revere 250 Thursday night.

I was worried that Daytona would have no SR-1 cars because of the clash with Road America, but Robinson,Crawford,Doran and Dyson should all be there.

One would think that all of these teams will be at RA for next years event. If there is a date conflict again it will not matter as I don't see any of the above doing the G/A with a DSC.

That said, the ALMS had better get the ACO to rethink the idea of taking away the chance of an LMP 675 car winning overall. Dyson,Rand and Intersport might not come back in '04 if that is the case.

Correction; It's the F.Nissan 2000 series she's doing and looking at the EL entry list seems they only need 2 drivers anyway.

Well, I'd rather Dyson went to RA, but I could understand going to the Revere. I expect next year, as you do, for those teams to run ALMS with their now-obsolete-for-GA tubs.

I just hope they all come to Mosport .

It appears that Dyson is fielding two cars at the Revere. 5 total SRPs (Robinson, Doran and the Crawford w/ Tony Stewart and EFR, + Dyson). Don't know if Robinson's R&S is their MkIIIc.
Plus:
SRPII - 1
GTS - 2
GT - 5
AGT - 9
Total Entries - 22

I guess Mid-Ohio (ALMS and Trans Am) and Road America (ALMS) are more appealing in general. 22 entries is pretty sad.

If you find it sad, what to say about the FIA-SCC next week-end at Magny-Cours... miserable...

Just goes to show that, largely, "Sportscars" and "Le Mans" are interchangeable terms these days.

FIA should take note. They need the ACO more than the other way around.
