PMM Chassis

Another thread alluded to PMM's first home grown chassis, Astro, being retired to life as a ride car.

With the prospect of 4 PMM built cars in the main game this year, and talk of maybe more in the Fujitsu series, PMM are going to be busy this summer!

PMM has built 6 cars:

Astro ex TKR now ride car duties
Bam Bam now Smiths Trucks
Colin smashed up by Paul Morris in NZ in 2004. Still in the shed?
Daisy used by PMM in 2005. Still in the shed?
Earnhardt used by PMM in 2006
Frank used by TKR in 2006.

Is Colin being rebuilt? Will PMM have a new chassis this year (G for ????).Does anyone know which cars are going where?

Info please!

Hi guys,
To answer your qtns, Colin is the car IRC/Autobarn Racing will use this year and Daisy is the car Gurr and Coulthard will share. Earnhardt is indeed the correct name of the Morris car. Bam Bam is retained by Smiths Trucks Racing and Radisich will agaihn drive Frank this year.
Cheers,
Noonz.

Colin has been sold to Rod Nash but run by Independant Race Cars (Marty Brant?) for Steve Owen to use in 2006. I gather Daisy will be cleaned up for Coulthard/Gurr to use as car 39.

Morris with run Earnhardt and TKR will continue to run Frank. I have no doubt that there is chassis G under construction, unless they are waiting on the outcome of the TEGA control chassis.

Bugger Noonz beat me to it!!

Thanks Noonz/*****ie.

More PMM cars in the series than Perkins built....must be the first time in a long while that there are only 2 Perkins cars in the series.
