How Kimi will win the Belgian Grand Prix...
Crystal ball time! Kimi will win the Belgian Grand Prix tonight.
Consider these facts here: - The McLaren is the fastest car off the line - Michael has wrapped up the title - The first corner at Spa is very wide, can make a pass there - MP4/17 has a bigger tank This is what I think will happen. Kimi will fuel up a few kilo's heavier than Michael, but still retain the off the line advantage. As the lights go out, he will be even with Michael at the first turn, but will outbreak him and lead the race, and stay ahead at the pitstops. This plan will go out the window if: a) His engine explodes b) The pitcrew bugger up c) He is overtaken...fairly easy at Spa d) Or if he isn't first into turn one, then it's Michael race I am looking forward to this one... |

Of course, good luck to both drivers, this could be the start of a new era, or a continuation of the one that has been going now for nearly a decade

Michael did start his era by winning this same race 10 years ago. Poetic justice?

The Macs might have a bigger tank, but that will not help Kimi too much in the first corner, especially if it's filled. I mean, that was the title of the poll. Anyway I voted that Schumacher will lead the first corner.
Quite indeed Schumacher wrapped the Championship already, but I suspect that it gave him a more confident mood... he doesn't drive under stress anymore (actuall I believe that he doesn't do that since Suzuka 2000). It will be a good race, however the protagonists I believe will be Kimi vs Rubens and Ralf vs Pablo vs DC. |

Haha, my crystal ball produces some oddballs sometimes...
I remember the time it told me Jaguar would come 3rd in the 2000 Constructors Cup.... |

Kimi will force his way past at turn 1 no matter what it takes, then several laps later lose the lead by missing his braking point and going straight on at Malmedy. He'll get back in second, and spend the rest of the race catching and then furiously trying to pass Schumacher, who'll try more than once to shove him off the road, before Raikonnen finally passes him under braking for the bus stop chicane with 3 laps to go, and never gives it back.
Or the Mercedes engine could blow sky high. Not sure which. |

Kimi could have won had:
- the engine not blown up - he had knee-capped TGF before the race |

I never thought he was going to win either. Soft michelins weren't the tyre to be on today. Hard, may be, but Kimi's qualifying gamble didn't pay off. Plus his mistake cost him dear.

Yes Schumavher would not have won -If he ......... -or if he...... -or if his opponents..... -and if the car was...... -and if the others cars.... and if and if and even more if….. To many ifs and one reality! Now let's not take this one GP away from him. Let's only for once give him credit for his unmatched talent and commitment. Schumacher, congratulations with yet another supreme victory and some more records! Darn, you are good! Always wish you the best! |

Should stick to the plot.
Michael Schumacher blasts out in front of everyone else. Rubens trails him to the flag. |
