Bit late Adam, was there on Jan 19 - circuit seemed pretty open
Surface does look very nice, all the guys reported no problems other than a lack of grip due to the rain washing off what little rubber had been laid down, and bringing up a lot of the oils etc out of the new tarmac. But very smooth from all accounts - unlike the old surface |

Wasn't having a go Adam, I'm hanging to try out the new surface myself if I get the chance.

Whispers from the powder room say that there will be no CAMS NSW state championship rounds a Wakefield this year.
Any truth to this rumor, and if it is true I wont be happy as it is my favorite track andf I was looking forward to racing there this year |

So, when Oran Park closes CAMS NSW events will only run at Eastern Creek? Sad.

Champs
With the current anything goes, free-for-all approach to running race meetings in this country.....why even contemplate having state or country-based Championship......its just another old fashioned tradition...get rid of the lot
