GTR big news. It has not appeared in the Sun Herald or Daily Telegraph in Sydney. Or in any media I can discern locally. It is more the US media are picking up on a item in a Speedway website.
I did not know Tony Stewart was here, how is that for Speedways low profile in Australia?

I know in the Speedway media you can access information, general media Speedway almost does not exist.

Pity Speedway isnt bigger/promoted more - is almost the only motorsport going on in Oz over the Nov-Feb period (summer) each year...

No Fire, Parramatta run their own races independent of the World Series Sprintcar package. The Scott Darley memorial race on January 8 was a beauty !

Love to see Tony steering a midget downunder - I'll get to the Chilli Bowl someday soon.

Broken eye sockets and split chins last week, this week there was an attempted armed robbery of the gate takings by masked gunmen. It's all happening at the Speedway by the Freeway !

From the sound of the above, Mr Rush doesnt seem to be in a position to help either.
