The slide of trulli
seriously, if this story is true, do you think its really appropriate?
http://f1.racing-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news/detail/060425084329.shtml yeah fair enough to have a gripe if schumacher may have blocked him (i admit i didn't see it - please fill me in anyone), but take it through the stewards not in a petty schoolyard manner through the press... trulli seems to be slipping to new lows and blaming anything and everything for his under performing at the moment IMO... |

He seems happy about it doesn't he?
Expect this outburst to come to nought! Here speaks a man who is worried about being consistently outperformed by Ralf Schumacher and losing his Toyota seat to a big name next season... |

Lack lustre performances and lack of race pace on a regular basis impress no one. I expect him to leave the team at the end of the season. Who knows.

I know Jarno wasn't well in Australia, and he was away from the team for a while in the following week, so he may not have been 100% at Imola. He wans't much slower than Ralf in qualifying, and we'll never know how good his race would have been.
Still, it's sad to see Jarno continue his poor form from late 2005 into this season. He can be the most frustrating driver, brilliant on his day but lacking fight and graft. The successful engineer and team owner Mo Nunn always felt that Italian drivers were too empotionally fragile and cracked under pressure - Trulli and Fisichella appear to fit that stereotype. In fairness, Mo did sign Zanardi for his own team later. |

Zanardi pointed out that Nunn was pleasantly surprised by the fact that he did not do this, and according to Alex it is one of the few things that Mo Nunn will happily admit that he was wrong about. |
