Calendar clashes - try some common sense

One of the things I've noticed about FF1600 is there are some weekends where different series are racing on the same day, and some other weekends where none are.

We've also seen poor grids for SOM and MSV.

So why don't the various clubs/organisers get together to plan their calendars.

Eg - It's unlikely that there would be any drivers who race in Castle Combe AND NWFF, so those series could make sure that the majority of their events do clash.

That would then leave enough dates in between so that MSV and SOM never clash with each other, and that neither of them clash with CC/NW, thus allowing drivers from CC and NW to try their hands in visiting MSV or SOM.

Just a thought....

Up until this year all of these series have been organised by the same club, the BRSCC. This will change going forward with CCRC now administering the Castle Combe championship.

Everyone knows that is the ideal, but the reality is that the BRSCC are only able to hire circuits on certain dates, and some clashes are inevitable. It is not possible to plan all club racing around FF1600.
