Perez, a superb turn around to get on the podium after the grid penalty.

Sainz for me. Really good gritty driving to keep Perez in a significantly superior car with DRS behind for quite a time.

I vote Sianz too.
He did good passes on Perez, Norris and Hamilton And had good defense on Perez later in race too. I am sorry he did not get podium becuase deserved that. |

I voted Perez, but great drives by Carlos and Lando as well.

Cant vote Perez who was only out of position due to his own mistake in qualy - a recurring theme unfortunately.
Norris did very well while all others were driving off the track, and he gets my vote. Its early days for his rookie teammate, but it is clear who the #1 McLaren driver still is. |

Lando - that's about as much as McLaren could really hope for. Honourable mention for Sainz who seemed to have some good pace in the Ferrari but got the dodgy strategy calls from the team this weekend.

I think Carlos was solid all weekend, and had he kept it between the lines I would have voted for him. Lando gets my vote as he not only drove well, like Carlos, but stayed within the lines after his race engineered warned him. I know he said it's much harder than we think it is, and we should be careful judging, but he managed. Solid Lando.

I had to give it to Verstappen because he was dominant, yet again. I would rather give it to Lando (and I nearly did) because he is a nice bloke and he really did drive well in a car that is getting better but still not right up there. He was one of the few drivers keeping it within spitting distance of the black stuff. I might also have given it to Carlos for some really spirited driving but two penalties for track limits spoilt that plan.

Gave it to Lando for wringing the best out of the revised McLaren, but also for being one of apparently only 2 drivers who incurred no track limit infrigements, but also managed to double up as a marshal reporting others' infringements

Lando did get some track limit warnings, but managed it after his engineer warned him. George Russel and Zhou Guanyu didn't get any warnings at all, impressively enough.
