WANHER should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Alfa romeo 308/ 8c 35/ 12c 36/ 12c 37/ 412

Those magnificients car were still on duty after WWII some in EUROPE
and other in South America

8c 35 in Europe is known as the D Poore car
308 was the car driven by R Sommer 'Le Sanglier des Ardennes'
and famous JP Wimille virtual World Champion
Now South American saga
Alfa Romeo entered for A Varzi a 12c/37 with 4500 unblown or a 308
with unblown 4500 ?
I 've read somewhere that 308 were updated 8c/35
312 12c/36
316 12c/37
Alfa Romeo entered for ? Galvez (Oscar or brother Juan) 308
Alfa Romeo entered for C Bucci till 1953 308
Alfa romeo entered for ? Pessatti 8C/35 and then after rebodied
as 158 Alfetta look
This list is not close because old warriors never die
Help information are very scarce chassis numbers or entrants

The 412 were sport car first race GP d'Anvers in 1940
but hoops I did it again I forget Australia sorry Ray

Forgot what?

Though there was a bimotore in New Zealand, I don't think there was anything more modern in the way of racing Alfas than Saywell's P3... just the Barrett/Egerton/Steele Monza, Davison's live axle P3 and Saywell's Dubonnet version...

Err... there was a Sports Racing model ran here for a few months in 1975.

Wahner does mention chassis numbers and entrants...

I hope for a more specific question to come forward. Which years, what races, which cars? What exactly is it that we are we looking for? I can look up a few chassis numbers or entrants but for which events? Why would I spend half an hour to look up something when I am not sure it is going to help? I don't do it for myself and won't do it for others. Therefore, I need to know more or less what we are looking for and citing 10 or 11 Alfa models over 20 years is a large field to cover for anybody.

But instead I can recommend some Alfa literature, which cover the history of the company and their cars:

Dear Hans and Ray, my question is in fact :
The car developped for A Varzi after the war for the
Temporada in 1947 should it be a 12C/37 and is st the same car for
C Bucci and the second question which is then the car that
Galvez and 'Raph' obviously a 308 which one ? I know that
'Raph' drives the Naphtra Course car.
The year should be 1947 or 1948 for the last one

I hope that I answered your question of which cars your five drivers, mentioned in your first post, were using for the two years in South America. Why do you call it a career of the Alfa Romeo 308 in South America, when I inform you about ALL cars?

There were only three 308's in South America during 1947, driven by Achille Varzi, Oscar Valdez and Chico Landi. In 1948, this went down to two 308's for Oscar Valdez and Chico Landi with "Raph" and Wimille appearing on two occasions during 1948 in the one Ecurie Naphtra Course Alfa Romeo 308.

I do not know what happened to any of those cars.

Reading the story to the attachment from fines
I read that Varzi's car was intended to become
a 2 seaters for the MM. I read sometime ago in
a well known british book that it was converted
in a 2 seaters by C Bucci and after fitted with
a 1900 Alfa ? and that the remains were put on
storage ?
