Rallycross Div1 Focus on ebay.
John Cross built Focus up for sale on auction site ebay. If I remember rightly think it was owned by a guy called Rob Neil, sure he had it up for sale for about 30,000 euros few years back.

He has had tht car for sale for such a long time i would have given up to be honest, price keeps dropping aswell! It can hardly be used though so would be a nice starter car for someone. However with the sort of power he is quoting it would not be anywhere near quick enough.
Does anyone know what happened to John's old Focus anyway, seemed a decent car considering it was to ERC regs, it could probably be quite a decent package now in the right hands! |

Rumour has it that it may re-appear with a V8 installed, but not for rallycross.

Ha ha John is really getting into his circuit racing isnt he, tell you what what Rod do a swap, let John's Focus have a blast at roundy roundy stuff and you come and have a go at rallycross in the Escort instead of winning too much on the circuits! Or better still bring the old Prelude out instead!! Shock horror eh, can't ruin my lovely cars with all that dirt! I jest!
By the way is there any news on the BriSCA boys going to Lydden or has it dies a death since the unfortunate clash of dates last year, would be great to see it!! |

I no longer own the Prelude. I did give a rallycross a thought until all the problems kicked off. I have had a go in the past. No BriSCA F.1s at Lydden this year, but the "festival of speed" meeting is going ahead on Sept.10th featuring the Camso V8s from Belgium and Holland.

Thats a shame Rod, there you have in a nutshell what I have been complaining about on here for ages.
THis fighting between people just doesnt help anyone. And I also saw that the people behind the BRDA championship have pulled out of supporting that aswell. I think that your little post above is very obviously what I feel a lot of people in similar positions to yourslefa re doing. Saying they would like a bash and then seeing the current state of the sport and holding back. I am sure there must be others and it is no suprise that the Irish are encouraging new people into the sport regularly. Shame about F1 but the CAMSO cars are pretty good aswell, they are also good at their home trak in Belgium, you should go along to the British invasion over there in the summer, is a blast! Thanks for the info |
