Did anyone have any news about the guest entries?

I just know:

Andre Couto will a BMW (Not sure in ROAL or Schnitzer)
Rodolfo Avila may join the race

I've heard rumours that Masaki Kano will drive for Engstler in Okayama and maybe Macau.

I'd personally like to see Jack Lemvard aswell, but this is just pure speculation.

I haven't seen it announced anywhere or if it is for both Asian races or just one, but Takayuki Aoki is on the WTCC site's driver list for Weichers-Sport - car number 52 - so unless Wiechers are going to ship 3 cars out, I take it he'll race the car Ara is using at Okayama for Macau

Why does he need a FIA permit? For the car or for himself? Isn't it a S2000 car? Too old?

For the car

If it's a proper S2000 I don't see a problem. What's the previous owner of this car?

There'd be mayhem with five if those included Farfus and Tarquini...

in two weeks time if you are planning to Sky + this three way title decider add extra time just in case of a track blockage (like i rightly did during the Porto round)

Just curious if Watson's Water will return to sponsor the BMW? I believe they had pulled out for a few years now?

For all those in Australia the races will be broadcast live on the soon to be launched Eurosport Channel.

It will sure beat a 30 minute highlight package screened weeks after the race.

Farfus isn't really in the title fight, too far back on points IMO however he is a lose cannon and judging by the way he punted of Menu in the last round I expect him to do the same or be in the barrier himself, had the rules been inforced he would have been thrown out of the points from the last round.

If James Thompson gets his Lada near Farfus I also expect a little payback from last year when Farfus smashed him off the track, Farfus reminds me of Plato from BTCC, very quick but erratic at times and not the cleanist of drivers.

With the entry being so large it does look like a good race although I am always curious as to why Couto is brought back each year as he never gets results although highly rated on this track.

i am also looking forward to this race. I know sometimes Lisboa gets blocked which = red flag. a litte reminder if you are planning to Sky + it, add extra time just in case!
