Openwheel should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
What happen ?

Junqueira 1st in 59.4, Bourdais 10th in 1.00.5: why is there such a big gap between the two newman/haas boys !

It's only the first day. It may just be that Junky is more familiar with the track? 1.188 between 1st & 10th makes for a competitive field - but once again, it's only Day 1.

Oh, almost forgot - Welcome to 10 Tenths, Openwheel!

welcome open wheel!
I like Bourdais more so and find him more talented than the whiney Junky.
I am sure they are trying something with setup
SB is very much a fast driver

Sperafico was 1.3s faster than Boss. Whatever that means.

Straight from the horse's mouth (so to speak )
Quote:
“I don’t feel okay with the balance of the car so its hard to push. The setup on the car doesn’t suit me so well for the moment. The only time we really ran in the dry was in qualifying so I didn’t get much track time to learn the course or adjust the setup to my style.”

From the Other Horse's Mouth:
Quote:
"When the bit of rain started I told the team we have to stay in and see if this rain is going to get worse or stop. Everyone went out and used up their laps. The rain stopped. I had a clear track and laps left and I think I could have gone faster. Sometimes when you don't have much time on the track, it can make you better."
Bruno gambled and the dice rolled his way. Good for him, I say!

Toronto is a pretty tricky little piece of road to learn if you haven't been there before. It's friday, he'll be on pace by sunday.

Or in the wall. Toronto also has a very tight pitlane and Bourdais has not handled that situation really well in the past, either.

Bruno was on pace to win last year until his close encounter with Mr. Bell. He may take the top step this year!

About time Bruno got up and won a race. He's been quick and consistent all year but, mysteriously, just hasn't got one yet.
