Tenoch should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Fernandez v. Jourdain

Who do you think is the best Mexican driver out there. I'm sticking with Jourdain first he gets fired at Herdez then he becomes as Robin Miller says the series next star aglimmer of hope, the next Mario Andretti. While adrian continues to struggle with his team and injuries.

I go for Adrian, as he;s always seemed to have rotten luck. Also, I'd love ot see an owner-driver win.

That said, lately, clearly Jourdain has led the way as the fastest Mexican. He's had a lot of help from Bobby and Jimmy and is clearly maturing greatly as a driver. He'll be tough to beat soon.

Adrian's got to be thinking of retirement by this point. The guy gets beat up every year, he's off pace, and he's running cars in two series this year.

Jourdain... He sucks for 7 years, now he's fighting for the championship? What the hell, this doesn't make any sense!

I couldn't agree more. Until last year, I thought he was totally useless. And most people in the paddock agreed. Remember he nearly didn't have a drive in 2002, until Gigante knocked on Bobby's door with a brown paper bag full of mula.

He's been sensational!

At the moment, Michel. But I still think Adrian's great though.

He did have a number of good drives last year though...and was getting better all the time. He was actually leading the championship at this point last year too... so I would'nt say it's completely out of the blue. I think Jimmy and Bobby helped him settle down a lot...he could go far now.

Michel seemed to do nothing because his team sucked, the only reason they won in 20 years was because they got lucky after Mario sent two drivers to the hospital. That just plain sucked lokk at all the good drivers they fielded; patrick carpentier, stefan johansson, helio castroneves. Now with this talent you think you could win in 20 years.

Once he switched to Rahal, Michael has been imrpessive, although i still didn't expect him to be quite this strong considering that he didn't have a podium last season, and only one in his years at Herdez.

Keith Wiggins has done a reasonable job of turnign that team around more recently though, and Dominguez is looking qutie competitive. Don't underestimate how much Roberto's experience is helping though, even if Roberto isn't on the pace.

Adrian is spreading his efforts too thinls - don't be surprised if he retires and switches to a 2-car IRL effort with Honda's help next season, although it depends on how CART goes. Running in both championships seems beyond him, but I'd love to see him stay, as an owner-drive rhe's closer to a true old-style privateer.

It's a shame Fernandez couldn't field a 2nd car for Luiz Diaz this season. I hope Luis gets a break into CART soon as he's another Mexican with good potential.
