The "I should really look these things up" 300.

The Sharpy Mini 300 from Bristol is here. 43 drivers are entered in 44 cars.

The notable entries are (Big list):
Bowyer (RCR), Ky Busch, Junior (DEI), Sugar Kahne, Newman, Matt, Harvick, Juan, Marcos, Carl, Bobby Labonte (Harvick).

Young guys in quick cars:

Timmothy Peters (RCR), Scott Wimmer (RCR), Shane Huffman (Dale Jr.)

Labonte ran 'good' last year in the short track cup race, and IIRC, Bowyer won because Harvick didn't wanna put the boot into him, or the otherway around. (Or was that Martinsville..actually I think it was).

TV AUS: Race is on NOT live, from 9am-midday.

At least it looks like a full replay.. compared to the 1hr or 1.5hr replays we sometimes got last year

I wonder when the Kevin Conway situation will be sorted out - looks rather odd seeing him listed in both the #18 Gibbs Chevy and the #40 Carver Dodge.

On a completely unimportant side-note, seeing as no driver will miss the race (unless someone replaces Conway in either the #18 or #40), this race will be the first where the top 30 in the 2007 owners' points are automatically locked into the race.

The entry list has now been updated. The #40 entry has been pulled, as has the #98 one that initially had Alex Garcia entered. Stanton Barrett, in the #30, and Brad Teague, in the #52, have been added, so there are still 44 cars going for 43 spots.

Got the times mixed up and missed the start, but anyhow, the race is underway and 15 laps into it. Currently under yellow, but I don't know who were involved in the wreck.

EDIT - Seems Jon Wood and Brent Sherman were the drivers involved.

In total five cars were involved. Red flag is out due to the SAFER barrier being damaged in the pile-up.

Tough break for Steven Wallace, he got tagged trying to avoid Krisiloff.

Nice job by Montoya so far, running in the top 20 at a track he labeled as "a nightmare" earlier in the week

Montoya just lapped. No big problem, really. Still good run for him.

Kyle Busch just spun trying to lap Kluever. It looked more like Kyle got impatient than Kluever punting Kyle. No body damage.

Of the 85 minutes the race has been going on, 50 of them have been under caution... It's crazy out there tonight

Ide would love racing at Bristol in the BGN series.

JPM being shown as the leader???????? Edit: he is now being shown in 17th. He apparently stayed out under caution to lead a lap.
