Mosler
The Mosler MT900R, apart from being a mini-McLaren, looks to me like a promising GT contender. Are there any plans to enter it either for Le Mans or for the FIA GT Championship, and what would need to be done in order to enter it?

Hopefully soon. asked at Mosler's forum... http://www.moslerauto.com/ |

I certainly like the look of it, but that's probably because it so closely resembles the McLaren F1 - another one of my all-time favourite sportscars.

Certainly watch the GT programme on 4, i'd swear they were saleens. The only external difference seemed to be the air intake on the roof.

There were plans to enter a Mosler in the Belcar 2003, but some troubles between potential team and organisation prevented this. The team wanted a little more power than the rules allowed. Good decision of the organisation. Who knows, maybe later this year we see them in action.
But Rollcentre did enter a car in the last race of 2002.......great looking thing. more of that at my page.... Last edited by Zandbak; 25 Apr 2003 at 17:56. |

Rollcentre, who ran one Mosler at Bathurst last year, are meant to be coming back to Bathurst with 2 cars this year. Along with the Monaro, they were probably the two most popular cars in last years race. The Mosler looks great up close in person as well
Interesting that it is being homologated with the ACO in GTS, i thought they were building enough so it could be eligible for GT/FIA N-GT. Would the Sequential gearbox it has be the cause of it? |

What's the engine capacity limit for N-GT? Because the Mosler powerplant is something like six litres, isn't it? A lot more than a 911 or a Modena...

I think 8L is the max in N-GT. Just the restrictors are smaller.
