Russell Brookes RIP
Sorry to see the news that Russell Brookes, of Andrews Heat for Hire fame, has passed away today at the age of 74......
Another of the guys we looked up to when club rallying back in the day. |

RIP Russell.
One of the top guys back in the day able to take on the international greats on the RAC's of the time. Always good to watch. And to follow on the very long distance (compared to today) 5 days rallies of the 70s and early 80s. |

Very sad. I remember his battles with the likes of Jim McRae, Tony Pond etc back in the 70's.
Another British rally legend departed. RIP Russell Brooke. For those interested there is a great article of his career published in Motorsport Mag back in 2005. https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/a...y-wouldnt-hire |
