Minicross424 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Victor Meldrew race 2014

After a bit of info about this event.
Brands Hatch MSVR site does not explain much and no entry forms online yet.
I tried emailing them today but no reply.
Whats the format, is it both days or just one, what are the classes?
Thanks in advance

Brands Hatch website says yes but that might explain the lack of info Alan

Victor Meldrew Entry

If you are having any problems entering the Victor Meldrew Challenge then contact MSVR at Brands Hatch. They will help you.

That's what I did.

Definitely on.
It's always a great fun event, and could be even more fun this year as it's a bit later this year (23rd of the month) - so we could be racing into the dark! But what else is there to do?
Despite the title, it's worth noting that it's not just for old gits like me - it's for anyone, and anyone can win! So who’s up for it?

Thanks for posting the entry link Tim

Good news - the 8th Meldrew is upon us at Brands Hatch on 23rd November 2014

Bad news - you will need to find some spare money for the entry fee - an extremely reasonable £160 for 15 mins of practice and two 15 lap handicap races.

In these straightened times it is not easy, but for a fun filled day with other miserable gits, it's worth turning down the heating and getting 'er indoors to wear few extra layers.

Entries are open on the Meldrew entry site http://victormeldrew.barkweb.co.uk/meldrew

Those of you whom have entered previously will just need to remember your login (I know, I know), check your car and personal details and enter away.

Newcomers will need to register (foc) get a password via email and follow the instructions on the site.

Please find the regulations, such as they are, here http://www.pbmwc.co.uk/Downloads/201...nge_Trophy.pdf
with a Meldrew Handicap form which you need to complete and return to me (by email - please u2u for details).

If you have entered previous Meldrews, I can update the handicap information. If not, I'll need the form back please.

Look forward to seeing you.
Best wishes

John

Well as Victor number one unfortunately I will not be doing it, anno domini plus another old problem seems to be rearing its ugly head but there are two ready to race cars that have been offered to the favourite Victor Meldrew in my book.

Also as a past Victor Champion unfortunately I wont be entering as I can't remember how to get to the track, also it would help if I had a car !

Login difficulties here, not that I'm thinking of entering but as a crotchety old spectator I was wondering about the race entry details.

Hi Eric
Sorry to hear that. If you are able, come along and present the prizes.

Gordon, I did contact the new(?) owner but have heard nothing more from him. The car and any driver would be welcome. Will he lend it to you?

Justracing
It's working for me. What would you like to know?

Unless someone has stolen it from the racebox outside of the workshop last night I assume it's still there !
The car hasn't turned a wheel for 2 years and I haven't got a race licence for this year so it's a no go.
I will be in the UK when it's on and I will pop up to watch the mayhem !!!!!
