DeLorean is back as an EV!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17428818
"Where we're going we don't need gas!" A possible production run of 300 made in Houston costing around $90k (£57k). Electric and nostalgia all in one. |

I wonder what happens if this one reaches 88mph?

Well if the "Tesla" in the TG tests was anything to go by, it will get to 88mph... but then you'll have to walk back!

I've heard of this a while back, but wasn't really moved by the whole electric DeLorean business.

That's an ususual comment to make IceMan_PJN. Any particular reason why you "weren't really moved". Do you work for a company that makes a rival machine and don't think it's a threat? Or do you have an original and prefer them with a proper engine? Just interested.

I don't get the whole DeLorean thing. The original was ugly enough without filling it with batteries.
