Seeking information on F1, F3000, F1600, and F3
I have just recently become a racing fan of Formula one and was wondering how the typical road loooked for reaching that level. I would like to know-in the area of F3000, F1600, and F3-what exactly are the requirments for entering the latter leagues. Particular things I would like to know include the following: what's the average salary of an F1 driver(excluding endorsements)?; do F3000, F1600 or F3 racers get paid anything, and how much does it cost to make each one of the previous cars?; at what league does a driver first get hired by a team? If you would like to answer something important along the lines I'm going on but did not mention, please feel free to do so. Thanks!

Hi Kenneth
Speaking of my F3 experiences typical budget a driver has to pay is between £300 and £400k for a year in A class Formula 3 (certainly in the UK) The cost of the bare car is around £40-45k, but on top of that you need an engine (typically leased) tyres etc. hopr this helps a bit |
