Unfortuntely one of Paul's Michelen's didn't read the script. It popped.
Congrats to Jim Cornish for winnig his first national level motor race. Interestingly, the only time privateers have ever won ASTC races it's been the same car, the Honda Accord. Cornish at Wakefield 2001, and Steven Richards at Winton 1996. yours Mark Jones |

Sorry, I thought it was a flat. It sure looked like one. but it was a loose wheel somehow.
And Falc, they use a control Yokohama. |

Blimey....with no disrespect to Sir Cornish, the last time I saw him race at Lakeside last he, you would never ever in a million years pick him for a race winner... But Kudos are indeed in order, and thanks to Elephino for throwing that rock on the road in front of Morris's car for us

It was good to see paul morris finally not win a race, but I was hopping it was Luke searle or John Henderson that was finally going to win, not Jim Cornish.
Crash, your comment on him not looking like a race winner is absolutely correct. I used to race against him in street sedans in 1992 in NSW and beat him every time, he never actually recieved a trophy that year and he had bought the championship winning car from the year before. He used to live across the road from me and came over one day after a metting at amaroo and wanted to fight me just because i had beaten him, so i'm afraid he was the last person I ever wanted to see win a race. Elephino, move your aim with that rock a little further down the field next time mtpanorama |

You can please some of the people some of the time...
I was hoping for Searle to win. The last time I said good luck to him he was out reasonably quickly. At least this time he almost won a race. |

So Channel 7s coverage this weekend may actually be interesting ! Cool ! Get rid of that dill Mark Beretta though. When I listen to commentary I expect the commentator to know more than what colour the car we are looking at on screen is.
