pink69 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Opinions on Peugeot

In pre season , Peugeot looked to be the only team who would be able to challenge Vauxhall. However that is clearly not happening at the moment and Steve Soper has already been taken over in the overall standings by Kurt Luby! Come on Peugeot , when are you going to get your act together?

I think Soper is still ahead of Luby?

Anyway, i believe Soper is the closest in terms of speed to the Vauxhall's, but Dan Eaves has been a tad disppointing, and he seems to be slower than Luby and Harvey.

Plus, Pug have had awful reliability problems. This doesn't help!

The pugs have been a complete joke, will they ever be successful in the BTCC?

The production Pugs seem to be doing alright.

Yes, but considering they were works NSC cars you might think so.

I think that you will find that the non-works (HTML) cars are doing better than the ex-works cars(Techspeed).

HTML were the 'second-string' Pug team last year. Kinda like Team Egg for Vauxhall this year. Moen didn't have team orders last year, did he? They got the same spec cars as the works Pug entry (Eaves/Ruokonen)

Vauxhall have surpassed all expectations and Peugeot have had bad luck pre season and during. I'm sure no one is more disapointed so far than the VLR team. However I know i'm new to the BTCC but from what I've heard and seen Vic Lee is a superb Team Manager and one of the best in the business I'm sure he and the team will bounce back soon I have faith in them but 888 have done a superb job on the Vauxhall.

Hunttheshunt,

I know someone at HTML and I can promise you that they were just customer cars last year. As with most customer spec race cars they are not the same spec as the works cars. Having said that I beleive that the cars are now the same spec as the ex-works cars, hence the improved performance from last year.
