Renault F1 director to quit F1
Reported on Autosport Website
"Renault Formula One director Patrick Faure will step down from his position after Spain's Fernando Alonso's victory at the season-opening Grand Prix in Bahrain." Is this quitting while you are ahead or what! Alonso signed to Mclaren for 2007, Renault F1 Director left. What does that say about Reanults comittment to F1 in the future. |

Thread title is a little misleading...!
This isn't the first time the rumour has surfaced, what do they have "left to do" in F1 now? However like with anything, one "step-down" *may* not mean anything... |

The phrase "Rats deserting a sinking ship" springs to mind.
When your number 1 asset and your man in charge leave, that does not spell a healthy future. |
