I know it's only P1 but SBR 1st and 2nd and both under the lap record looks ominous.

I'm liking all those Fords at the top!!! Hopefully they can stay there!!

And

What is the story with Lowndes??? If the names on Live timing where correct, Lowndes did not get in the car at all... And that is very very very un-FPR to give Seto prefence over Lowndes!!!

I know it is early, but top 5 are Fords,
and Rusty in First AND Second.

Wahoo!

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
How come one MS is entered in both HRT cars, do CAMS or AVESCO still let this stupid rule of drivers jumping into team cars allowed.
Even though it is the first session isn't great to see the might of the blue oval fill the top five.

Hope that the try-hard bombs out this weekend.

Becuase HRT (& other teams) have enter all 4 drivers for both cars & they don't have to decide the driver lineup until after practice.. Therefore they can drive both in practice!!

Thanks Joe5619, I thought they chucked that rule out years ago.

I thought the rule was still ok for practise, but not in the race.

Pretty dumb rule hey, but I think that drivers must be nominated prior to the commencement of Qual.

Is thisafternoon's practice session for co-driver's only? If so, and the teams that have multiple cars havent nominated drivers, who gets too pretend to be a co-driver in this session?

The ruling is they can change their driver lineup up until 12 noon on Saturday (thereabouts), then they are fixed to the cars they nominate.

I was told at the track this morning that Skaife drive 05 1st up in practice before handing over to PB and JP. PB later beached it at turn 1.
