British Eurosport Coverage
Not a bad effort, I have seen a lot worse. The commentator said that all races would be shown live or delayed in full. At least we won’t get the awful Eurosport 1 hour highlights program.

Suprised at that tonight. What I thought would be 1 hours shambles turned out to be 2 hours of action. Still to watch it, as the family wanted to see coronation street, so had to tape it.

Oh dear, I was on holiday - that'll mean that I'm missing a large chunk of something on my video.
Glad that they're doing full coverage - but please tell us next time!!!! |

I think it was a last minuite decision by Eurosport,in response to complaints from Darren Manning fans? Little demand for the shortened NASCAR Daytona who's fans had already seen it live on NASN.

It wasn't the 500 that was cancelled. It was the Bud Shootout.

I'm still yet to reach the end of my video, but I do have a gripe, and that the coverage is the pits.
Or, rather, it isn't the pits at all. The coverage is really lacking without any mid-race interviews (I can see me finding one when I sit down at lunch, but, hey, I've started so I'll finish!). Back in the ESPN days the International feed used to ride shotgun with the interviews, and this was great. Last year with the wandering mike wasn't too bad either. But I caught a glance of someone about to ask a Q to Fernandex team, presumably about strategy, and I really wanted to know what was said, but the Intl. feed cut away to another onboard camera. I feel that it ends up lacking a major part of the coverage by ignoring that. |
