Maharajas Tour
From organiser Bryan Hull-
We would like to give you advanced notice that once again as part of the Stoke Row and Nuffield Motorsport day on Sunday the 15th of July we are organising the popular “Maharajah’s Tour” for all types of interesting cars. In our 7th year of running the tour we again have a new start venue, this time moving to a new location in South Oxfordshire that will provide us a varied route in this beautiful part of the world. A Bacon Roll and hot beverage will be available before you commence on a scenic tour of approximately 60 miles before arriving for lunch at the Stoke Row Motorsports Day venue, Timbers Farm Nuffield, where special parking will be arranged for the finishers. “Rally style” plates will be issued and finishing awards presented. Maps and a Tulip road book of the route will be issued on the day. This is a Touring Assembly run by Craven Motor Club and is a NON competitive event run under a certificate of exemption issued by the Motor Sports Association UK Ltd. The tour will take place on public roads, so all vehicles must be registered and currently licensed with a valid MOT test if relevant. The cost of entry will be £80 per car which includes a two bacon rolls and tea or coffee at the start and two meals in our hospitality area at the finish. (You may opt out of the meals if you wish, in which case entry will be £60.) Please tick the appropriate boxes on the entry form, indicating if you would like vegetarian or standard ploughman’s, or you can also indicate to opt out of hospitality. Entry is limited to just 60 cars and a first come first served basis and the cars will start in age order, oldest first and the entry form will soon be available via the events website www.stokerow-motorsportday.co.uk We look forward to seeing you in July. |

Hi Mike, thanks for posting the above saved me a job.
I'm looking forward to the day as for me it's something a little different from my normal motorsport involvement, a village fete but with cars. The website will shortly be updated with this years entry form and I look forward to speaking to all those that wish to take part in the Maharajas Tour. Bryan |

Superb. The Finish Line interviews are likely to take a while longer this year especially if the tourists get a little spread out. Is the Fire Service on station again this year? Could be handy if the weather remains dry for the next week. |

OK no Monster, but I can confirm, David and Liz Piper , Mike Knight and Dave Brodie are coming along for an interview. I had better brush up on my Linguish.

It's already a scorcher here too, & I hope to catch a glimpse of Tour de France as they whizz off from Arras to Roubaix. They have a tough day ahead of them with lots of pave sections. |

Sorry I didn't make it but we got in late from a party last night then I had to sort a few things out this morning, also got to get up early for an MRI scan tomorrow.
Brilliant that the weather has been amazing as it really is the "icing on the cake" for any outdoor event, well done Iain and all that made it happen. |

We had a great day thank you.Next year Gordon. Hope MRI scan goes ok. The only major problem I had was sorting out a punch up between two ice cream vans. Confusion in the committee and two vans turned up.
