Raoul Duke should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Will Richmond ever see the light of day?

I've noticed that both the Richmond races are run at night. Isn't it tradition for one race to be run in the daylight and the secound to be run at night?.

I dunno... I kinda like night races. The shadows from all the lights make for a trippy light show effect. Makes ya wanna say... Dude...

I think they used to run one of the races in the day? Not sure when they made the switch to two night races but I know it's been at least the past two seasons or more that both have been under the lights.

Yes, the spring Richmond race used to be contested during the day a few seasons ago. I think it was changed to a night race in 1999 or 2000. At the time, I remember hearing local track owners being quite vocal against these changes because Winston Cup night races on Saturday night really hurt their attendance.
