That's seriously interesting and good news for FF1600. It comes to something when well seasoned F3 guys come back to FF1600. Guess you're busy at the mo James with so many entrants!

Thanks Keith.
Danny is a good friend of mine, and he was keen to become involved. I think it shows the strength of the Walter Hayes Trophy that he didn't mind getting stuck in.
All part of the fun !

Hi James

Does that mean Danny Watts & David Leslie will be in the same race starting from the back of the grid ???

David Leslie told me some months ago that he was out in Britcar on Saturday and had already been given permission to start at the back on Sunday.

He did do well in all fairness.

Think stu and him would have put a good fight on had he not been 'punted off' by danny. (dannys words, not mine!!)

Danny is a real driver made a lot of the regular front runners look stupid.

I don't think stupid is quite the right word average is better . Any way how stupid would he have looked if he hadn't performed how he was expected too ! At the end of the day he drives competion cars most days whether it be testing for his racing or instructing at "Silverstone" so come on play fair he did what was thought of him, but still he didn't have answer for Joey who was 20 odd seconds in front of him at the end !!

Both Joey and Danny are very good drivers I raced against Joey in FFZetec and Danny in karts but I think to be fair Joey had a car advantage in the wet.

Good to see Wayne (and Matt) has sort the SJ01 out now.

I wasn't saying Danny is a bad driver far from it, the way he was controling the car when he past me in both the last chance and the final was a sight to behold in it's self .
He has amazing car control especial seeing as only jumped in it that morning in far from ideal conditions.
The point i was trying to make all be it badly was that i don't think he made anyone look stupid maybe just average .

Yeh, I wonder if Wayne Poole put that really quick motor which he used for one meeting @ Castle Combe last year.
