Silverstone Classic Marshals BBQ

To spread the word as far as possible, thanks to the efforts of Iain Rowley at Delta Motorsport there will be the (becoming traditional) BBQ and booze for Marshals (and anyone else trackside, naturally!) on Friday evening, July 29th. Bauble will no doubt be challenging you all with another quiz, and hopefully there will be prizes!

Expect the location to be in the outer National (old) paddock close to the toilets, as per last year. Either Iain or myself or both will get to the circuit before opening time Wednesday to make sure we get the prime spot reserved!

And can you all pray to the weather gods, please, that we do not get a repeat of the rain last year! Don't think I've ever been so cold and wet in July.....

Mike, hopefully this will be spread to all marshals at the Classic as I believe notification of the BBQ will be in marshals final instructions. This should lead to more people attending.

We will once again, due to public demand, be running our popular Quiz Night at the barbecue, and this year it will concentrate solely on the current Formula 1 World Championship 1950 to-date.
Charge up your mobile phones, get out your history books and start swatting, after all you don't want Delta winning do you?

The evening will also feature a 'Free Prize Draw' for some valuable items, so be sure to register you name on the night to have a chance to "Win a Major Prize", as they say.
