2016 ETCC news & rumours
TCN2 class confirmed for ETCC
http://www.fiaetcc.com/new-tcn2-tech...-etcc-in-2016/ Personally I would expect Engstler to enter a Golf instead of a BMW. As for others too early to say. Still think it would have been ideal for TCR and ETCC to merge and create a powerful GP2-style feeder championship for WTCC. |

i assume ETCC will have a smaller grid next year compared to 2015.
some of the SMT drivers will move over to ohter TCR series, like Pfister to ADAC TCR. i'd expect Rikli rather to enter a TCR Civic than his Civic FD as the S2000 class will likely have no other entries. wonder howmany TC2T cars we will see in 2016. |

TCR national series will hurt ETCC.
To certain extent it's a shame TCR International has rounds outside Europe. Would rather see a strong European series. Add some extra races like Macau and create (for example) a 3 round TCR World Cup. Also because relative low costs is a strong part of TCR an European only series would be more logicial. In my opinion at least. |

ETCC champion to race in WTCC 2017. At one European round. While the S1600 champion will be given a test in TCN-2 car

ETH Tuning with 2 Peugeot 207 Sport in the S1600 class in the ETCC. Last years DTC dricers Kevin Hilgenhövel and Andreas Rinke will drive the cars.
