There are buses running on Sunday, but, they'll be local ones that might not show on internet searches.
You could catch the train to Longfield and get a 5 minute taxi ride or a 20 minute walk. D. |

The chances of getting a taxi in Longfield on Sunday morning are almost nil. The walk along the valley road is probably longer than you think (nearly 4 miles - not a 20minute walk, nearer an hour) and it's quite a dangerous road to walk on.
If you feel you have to walk take the train to Farningham Road. It's about the same distance but at least there are verges to walk on. No idea about taxis service from there. From Eynsford is a slightly shorter walk, again no taxis. Best option, Go to Swanley, top of the stairs, turn right, get a taxi. Last edited by Bodysnatcher; 5 Aug 2011 at 13:19. |

Can't say as I notice them when I drive through Eynsford/Farningham but then I may be a bit earlier than spectators...
Maybe they're all taking the shortcut on the old byway across the hill - saves about 1/2 a mile. (Priory Lane to Beesfield Lane) |

Don't think there has been any bus service on a sunday since the 70s.Last time I went was for first A1GP in 2005.stayed in London-train to Swanley-taxi to circuit.on return a crowd of us were looking for taxis outside the hotel by the main gate-eventually someone found a minibus.Have not bothered since.
