Racefab
New user quick pony sent me this:
"My name is John, I am currently running a Website and Forum called "Racefab". In the mid to late 90's Racefab was an active mailing list for all who were interested in Racecar Fabrication and Construction. Anything from fabricating new suspensions, calculating roll centers, to finding the best way to weld 4130 tubing. If it was race car related it was there. It slowly faded out, I think partly due to hosting issues. About a year and a half ago I contacted one of the old admins for the list and was able to get the old list of members, and about 2 years worth of archives. A good deal of the addresses were out dated, but I contacted a few and the general consensus is that it was a good list and much information could be found within the membership of the list. So I am giving it a go. I started the Forum about a year ago and have had some success, but it is slow getting the word out. Currently I am working on converting the archive to a forum, but the whole text is availabe under the "Archives" link on the portal page. The URL is http://racecars.jr4net.net:8080 " |
