Thanks for the info Hazard. Are you going? If so come and see me in the J Team garage.
I think there will be so much to talk about after Brands. Will it be a huge train for the first race into turn 1 or will somthing go off? |

I think it will depend a bit on how they start. On the review-dvd's you can sometime see the cars start really close together, and sometimes more apart. I always wonder how it goes well if they start so close together...

I'm having trouble finding anyone to support. I still remember Neal from his ST independent days and he seems like a good enough bloke, he's the reigning champion though and I usually cheer for the underdog. Though with Dynamics building their own car, I suppose i can cheer a bit for them.
Oh well, I think this will be the ones I'll cheer for this season: Matt Neal after all Motorbase Preformance - go Howell & Allison! Well, thow in the Alfas there too and there you have it! |

Contrasting yourself, Jimmy, I have no doubts who my support goes to!
Just look at my avatar. Hoping for a repeat of last year's trio of win's for Seat, and being there in person they probably won't. |

I'm looking forward to seeing how Tom Onslow-Cole (or "The OC") does in his first BTCC race.
It's been a long time but... it's back! Hopefully i can get to Brands this Sunday. |

Can't wait, I've been suffering withdrawal since Silverstone!
I'll be supporting Rick Kerry - I always like to see someone trying something new and different, so best of luck to Rick I do quite like the Civic too though, and the BMW's, and the - well you get the picture, I just can't wait to get there on Saturday Support programme looks strong too, I'm really looking forward to the new Seats and Clios so it should be a good couple of days. |

Felt a bit jinxed when Reid became the first non-Vauxhall winner of the season! At least Bennett won the second race - though I wanted Muller to take the title |

Dynamics look to be behind the 8-ball so far - Shedden barely did any running yesterday due to technical problems. In theory teams like Motorbase and Jackson could start next season with an advantage over them - SEAT,Vauxhall and WSR certainly do. It's a big field and there should be plenty of action - I just hope the BTC-spec cars aren't too fast.

Behind the 8-ball? Bit James Allen-esque that remark there, Boots.

Would that be one of those "Mystic 8-balls"?
All signs point to 'yes' |

Contrary to todays weather, numerous reports say we should be in for some nice weather this weekend.

Free Practice 1 Red Flagged with 46 seconds to go.. So that'll be the end of that.
Don't know why either. Jordan leads with Chilton and Giovanardi 0.089 and 0.119 seconds slower respectively. Matt Neal down in 8th. |

Top 23 within 2 seconds of the leader; then it's another 2 sec back to the group of Leggate, Pocklington and Kerry. Jones looking promising in 6th.

A little surprised to see Jordan at the top. Equally surprised to see Bell so far down. Leason do a lap until half way through the session so obviously a few teething problems. Jackson and Stockton only did 9 and 8 laps respectively. 4 BMWs in the top 6 at the finish line speed trap. |

I think that backs up the argument we were having about WTCC BMWs being quicker round Curibita being partly because it had a lot of long straights - the BMWs are definitely quicker in a straight line but lose out in the twisty bits. |

Par for the course at Brands Hatch Indy!
Well, I must say, I have quite fancied those Team RAC Beemers. I thought they'd take a while to get going, but pole first time out tends to make that suggestion look daft. Seat are in prime position to get optimistic and fail again! |

Interesting! Didn't expect to see the BMW on pole, that's for sure...
