POLL: 2006 Team-mate Vs Team-mate
Who do you think will come out on top in 2007? Some of these pairings are yet to be confirmed but let's just assume this is the way it goes, ok?
McLaren 1. Raikkonen 2. Montoya Renault 1. Alonso 2. Fisichella Ferrari 1. Schumacher 2. Massa Williams 1. Webber 2. Button BAR 1. Barrichello 2. Heidfeld Toyota 1. Trulli 2. Schumacher RBR 1. Coulthard 2. Klien The rest either i dunno their driver pairings or they're unlikely to figure anyway...but will consider suggestions if anyone really cares. Could someone (mod?) either add a poll or tell me how to do so? Is a multi-poll such as this even possible? Last edited by NO1SPECIAL; 26 Aug 2005 at 13:30. Reason: lacking poll! |

Check the FAQ about polls. Also this is actually seven polls, not one!
The number 1 will come out on top in all you lists. Some by alot some by a little. |

I have checked the FAQ about polls
I know this is 7 polls or a multi-poll as i termed it, wondering if it could be done I think you're probably right about the winner - with some doubt in the cases of Williams, BAR and maybe RBR - but I'd still like to see what people think. Bad rating...that's a little unkind and methinks unnecessary |

I don't think a poll would work out that well given multiple options etc etc
I'll change the title to 2006 though! As for the thread rating - it's only an opinion, and not necessarily one that matters! |

As for who'll come out on top, given your list (so assuming Button is at Williams which I doubt, but anyway) the no. 1 driver listed will beat his team mate in all except for Jenson at Williams and Christian Klien at RBR.
Montoya will push Kimi hard and will beat him at some races, Button and Webber will be very very close, Klien will use everything he has learnt from DC to bring out some of his own potential (and earn a good drive for 2007 I reckon). |

thanks garcon, much appreciated!
and those stars look so much better - whoever did that, thanks. I myself think Webber will shade Button, Coulthard v Klien...i'll give it to coulthard by a toenail....Montoya will surprise and shade Raikkonen....and i think Heidfeld just over Barrichello...everywhere else No.1 pretty comfortably. |

Cobblers!
Montoya's on Kimi's pace now so i reckon he'll wupp him next year!! Anyway if he finds he's ahead of Montoya he knows JPM's got the measure of him in a scrap after Brazil last year where to be frank Montoya totally mugged him leaving Kimster a bit stunned and embarrassed to be frank (or should that be Ron?!!)!! I'd agree with all the other orders though. |

McLaren: Raikkonen
Renault: Alonso Ferrari: Schumacher Williams: not sure on this one, I think it could go either way BAR: another one I think will be close, but Barrichello's experience will probably edge it. That said, he's looked distinctly average this season without the best car. Toyota: Trulli RBR: Coulthard |

I think Button could probably beat Webber if they become team-mates, and it would be intersting if Jenson remained alongside Rubens - Button would be 60-40 favourite in my mind. Klien would be closer to DC than this year, as would Liuzzi, but I think David is the more talented driver, even before you consider experience. JPM could beat Kimi if he got a very good start and some more team support, and even in the worst case he could run him close. On pace he can match Kimi, but I feel Kimi is mentally stronger and more balanced.
