FRC Round 12 - Laguna Seca
This is the official prediction thread for Round 12 of the Fantasy Racing Challenge, which is the Monterey Sportscar Championship. This round takes place at the famous Laguna Seca circuit. Pertinent information can be found as follows:
The entry list: http://www.americanlemans.com/Events...%20Entries.pdf The event schedule: http://www.americanlemans.com/Events...20Schedule.pdf The race thread: http://tentenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100904 If you have not read through the rules and information thread, please do so, as the format is somewhat unique. Your submission should include your pole prediction for each class along with your pick(s) for each class winner. Reminder: You can pick up to three cars for your class winning choice. I have no set format for submitting your picks as long as it is easy to follow. A submission may look like this: P1 Pole: Audi #1 Winner: Audi #2, Zytek #10 OR GT2 Pole: Ferrari #31 Winner: Ferrari #62, Porsche #45, Panoz #21 All predictions should be in by 3:00pm PST (local time) on Friday, October 19th, which is 25 minutes prior to qualifying. We have a cracking championship fight going with a number of people still in with a shot at the overall victory. Good luck to everyone! |

Thats the trouble when you record all the MOTORS TV coverage of the Petit Le Mans, you're so busy watching it whenever you can get on the TV to do so, that you completely forget the predictions competition.
So best of luck to everyone but for what its worth I reckon the Penske Porsche is going to win outright. Nick |

Unofficially by my oft flawed math. Stellar round by ThePenguin with a straight pick and only missing the GT-1 pole for a perfect round!!!
1. skycafe - 105 + 11 = 116 2. Bentley03 - 100 + 12 = 112 2. jhansen - 100 + 11 = 111 4. HORNDAWG - 95 + 15 = 110 5. The359 - 96 + 10 = 106 6. ScuderiaV8 - 88 + 13 = 101 6. Speed-King - 88 + 12 = 100 8. jaysalv - 87 + 11 = 98 9. The Badger - 75 + 9 = 84 10. SALEEN S7R - 82 + 0 = 82 11. vorsprung - 77 + 0 = 77 12. zac510 - 60 + 11 = 71 13. russ250575 - 71 + 0 = 71 14. ThePenguin - 51 + 19 = 70 15. Nick49 - 18 - 44 - 62 16. Sebring MG - 16 - 31 - 47 17. Mingaling - 14 - 32 - 46 18. dj choc ice - 10 - 29 - 39 19. rdjones - 7 - 24 - 31 20. Marky - 5 - 18 - 23 21. Mirage M6 - 2 - 18 - 20 21. Francesco - 5 - 15 - 20 23. prototype - 0 - 12 - 12 24. Fogelhund - 2 - 8 - 10 24. The Real DMN - 6 - 4 - 10 26. Tux - 3 - 3 - 6 27. The Tour 3 - 0 - 3 L.P. |

What a race!
Got home late last night, so will work on the results tonight. I'm not quite up to speed on this, but is Interlagos still on life support, or is the race a go? |
