Fast Times at Bristol Motor Speedway

The World of Oultlaws test on Tuesday night was canceled by rain and most did not make it as they needed to move on Lowe's Speedway in North carolina. However, Sammy Windell hung around and did some run in work on his car at the high banked dirt track. He set an unofficial track record at 13.60 seconds at 141.2 mph. Very fast for a 5/8s mile track. Scott Bloomquist, three time Hav-A-Tampa Late Model champ also ran 15.76 seconds around the crircuit. Swindell's time was about 1.5 seconds off of last years pole time at the Winston Cup race on the asphalt version of the track. Both drivers expect to go around 1/2 second faster to b able to set the pole for their races in June.
