Robbie Kerr
I am trying to find out how much interest there may be in forming a Robbie Kerr supporters club.
Robbie will need all the support he can get to fight the big budget drivers in F3 2002. Please post some comments. |

I think it's a great idea Sid - more drivers should have supporters clubs.
If you need a hand or want to put info or a link on my site, let me know. |

Yeah I could well be interested. Gonna try to get to a few of the races this year. Looking forward to seeing what Robbie can do in a Championship car.

Ooh you cynic sonic.
Out of interest, ask a certain Australian gentleman how quick Robbie was at Pembrey first time out in the new car |

Robbie Kerr
While a Supporters' Club is a good idea, it need not necessarily be too formal a thing. The key is to reach out to the fans, talk to them, let them know what's going on. That's probably enough to keep most happy...
One young racer who is very conscious of his profile with the public is Daniel Clarke (BRDC FFord champion 2001, Junior FFord this year with Medina), and he does a good job of interacting with his fans (and I try to lend a hand where I can). He's had some car stickers made up, and the one I've got instantly makes my gold Renault 5 look much classier. Incidentally, I had great fun following Robbie's progress for The Hinckley Times in 2001. It was a tremendous season to write about. Hopefully 2002 will be every bit as good. Ian Sowman |
