GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition - Round 14 and LAST, Sakhir

Welcome to the Round 14 and LAST of the 2005 GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition!

GP2 Series finishes its first and marvelous season turning at the sands of Mid East, at Bahreinian circuit of Sakhir. Nico Rosberg is ahead from Heikki Kovalainen in the direct fight for the Drivers Championship, while ART Grand Prix have reached the Teams Championship at the last meeting at Spa.

The showdown of the first GP2 season is followed by the closing stage of the 2005 GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition, that will give on its definition the Great Prize: a year subscription to FORIX, the top Formula One statistics website. Watching the standings, we assume that, between concursants, are five that there are the favourites to win the Competition and award the prize. They are these:

- DanFlag (TT), with 110 points
- Mekola (CO), with 100 points
- flexible-flyer (TT), with 100 points
- Daisy (TT), with 99 points
- Cuervitti (TF), with 98 points

Between forums, we said that Ten-Tenths is the virtual champion, but there is a small but not impossible chance of Los Tuercas to do the leap and reach the glory.

You know the rules: We'll post our predictions for race 1 polesitter, top 8 finishers of Race 1, top 6 finishers of Race 2 and fastest lap scorers of races 1 and 2. Remember that Race 2 uses the results of Race 1 to order the grid, with top 8 reversed.
And remember that, with the results of this last round, will be added these of the predictions of the GP2 Drivers Championship, round attended by 27 concursants on last April.
The deadline of the last round of GP2 TWPC will be at 4:00 AM GMT Hour of September 29th. And, as ever, you can take a look at the Rulebook HERE.

We want to finish this season with a great finale. Then, this time we prefer to wish successes for all concursants!

Four days before GP2 last weekend of the year, will be two important events, the Formula One at Brazil and the start of the brand new A1GP formula series at Brands Hatch. Then, CLICK HERE if you want to predict the results of Brazilian F1 Grand Prix, and HERE if you want to do the same with the opening race of A1GP.

Some of you might want to wait until after this weekends A1 at Brands Hatch. Many of the drivers will be there. And although it might not be the best indication due to the new cars and teams, you should be able to see who has a good streak.

In order to help concursants in their predictions, I posted this link to the ENTRYLIST OF GP2 TEAMS AND DRIVERS.

It's a fact that Italian Ferdinando Monfardini will replace Finnish Toni Vilander at the command of car #17 of Coloni Motorsport for the last GP2 round at Sakhir. We remind that in case of driver replacements, the Rulebook considers that if a concursant predicts a driver who left his seat, in the predictions usually we will consider the car he had raced, no matter who drives that car; the exception is when the driver who left his car goes to another team to drive with their car.
