I suppose you mean a Ford GT, or are they actually going to run a 40 year old car?

That thing would be so slow through the corners.

Are they going to keep one of the original paintjobs?

Will they fit a wing on it like the other cars have?

Only thing is its got four gears doesn't it?

And I thought they were just sold as replicas now?

Is the one that has a very slim chance of appearing in Speed World Challenge next year. That seems doubtful, maybe a slightly higher chance of the car being seen here in competition in 2007.

Totally different from the Super GT car.

"Other new machines will also feature in 2006. In GT300, the arrival of a Ford GT will be a crowd-pleaser; as well as the announcement of the Mooncraft 'Shiden' (taken from the name given to the successor to the famous Japanese 'Zero' warplane) concept car."

this from http://supergt.net/en/ (the pic on the Japanese version of the article is waaaaay cooler!)

No, they're both real projects, but the Mustang one is far more developed at present and is the car likely to be ready for competition in 2006.

At the moment nobody is developing a GT2 or GT1 version. But it would be great to see a GT2 version of this Ford.

Aston Martin is owned by Ford, so they are already racing at Le Mans.
